Which would you consider more of a community, a discussion forum about a social issue or a game like Farmville? Why did you choose the one you did?
I'm not very active in either one, however, I do have friends who are active in both. I'm sure it varies from group to group, but it seems to me people are more connected when they talk about more serious issues, so I would say a discussion forum. However, if the discussion forum was a one topic forum, I would say Farmville, because it;s a very long term game, and I know my friends constantly talk about it with each other. So in the end I would say whichever one gives the people longer lengths of times to communicate together.
